    Post Pistol envy under control

A good friend of mine has a couple of springfield milspecs and a range officer. I admit my pistol envy has nearly unbearable.
we went to the range early sunday morning and I shot the heck out of all 3 of his springfields, nice guns but I wasn't making any spectacular groups with any of them.
I loaded up my trusty trophy and after 12 shots or so at 20 yards most of them could be covered with a silver dollar in the dead center of the target.
So for now I am content with what I got

They say the grass is always greener on the other side. I've learned that when you get there, you're often disappointed. Nice that you found out before spending $$.

That's a good place to be. Enjoy your pistol. Wanting what you have is often better than getting what you want.

When it come to the MetroArms 1911 models, I don't know if you can find a better performing gun, just a more expensive one.
